I was saved when I was in high school and went to church for personal reasons with the idea of having fun, but God had a different plan for my life, a plan of salvation. Since I became a christian I have had a strong commitment to do God’s will and to be used for His prospice. God has performed many miracles in my life and because of my testimonies many have been saved, including my parents. My grand father was saved one year before he died.
I worked as a volunteer in Gonaives, Haiti with the Eben-Ezer Mission for seven years before moving to Saint-Marc for discipleship training with Youth With A Mission(YWAM) and to work as a volonteer for more than three years. It was here that I met my future wife, Dina knepper. We were married and now have three children; Samuel, Joshua and Hannah. Together we moved back to Gonaives and began working with a children’s home (Centre de Formation et de Nutrition des enfants CFNE). I was very trusted in the missions groups that I worked for and still have a good relationship with all of them. The last five years I had worked with the children’s home. It was during my years of volunteer work there that I gained the experience to qualify as director and house parent of Hearts of Hope Haiti children’s home.
My dear friend, it’s a privilege to be part of what God has planned to do in this country. I believed with all my heart that this is the time to play our part to build a better future for the coming generation in Haiti. It is all about love and giving yourself to save the destitutes and the orphans. Jesus has given Himself to save the world so you and I can be alive today. Do you ever think about a child sitting in the sun who has no food, no one who has clothes, waiting there for your help…The situation cannot wait any longer and as I promised, the time is coming for me to go back to Haiti to be able continue my mission work and help raise a new generation of hope for this nation and be a part of its development.
It is truly an honor to serve the people of Haiti, the place where I was born. As the founder of Hearts Of Hope Haiti, I am committed to strengthen families and improve the quality of life for orphans and the destitute, to build a solid foundation of knowledge for helping Haitians to love and serve their country, to create and enable an environment that promotes development for education, agriculture, and culture. However, without this kind of sincere motivation it will be difficult to serve effectively with respect to all of these needs. I have a duty to ensure that the children of my foundation have an opportunity to complete practical training as a unique access to succeed, giving the opportunity for the young to be Godly and responsible their own future. I pledge myself both physically and emotionally with my staff to do the best as I can to provide God with quality work, never defrauding Him in any way.
It seems like a challenge for me but I wish to tell you that God wants you to become involved because it will not be possible to continue without your prayers and financial support. I’m very concern about what is happening in Haiti right now and I would like to request that you please to help us with the financial support needed to make this mission become a reality in Haiti.
